MEET JENNA

INTRO

First of all, Welcome.

I’m not sure what brought you here, but I am sure it’s no coincidence.

Let me break it down for you. My greatest fear is shallow living. My work as DEVOTED YOGI has come from the desire to be truly, deeply dangerously alive - regardless of what that appears like on the outside.

That is all I want for you too.

To rest in the wild abandon of your true self to the greatest degree possible and in my eyes practice is the gateway to that wide open present - every soul longs for.

As Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes so poignantly shares “Wisdom is what works.”

My intention is to bring to you what has worked for me - in its purest form.

BIO

Jenna’s BA is in Native Systems of Education and Decolonization; essentially this is the study of how the mind is impacted and impressed upon by culture, language and experience. On the inverse side Jenna’s study of yoga focuses on how the inner climate impresses upon relationships and experiences of the outer world. Devoted Yogi classes, workshops and trainings are the combination of the two - realism and relativity you might say.

While traveling internationally for over many years, Jenna learned basic Sanskrit and studied texts and philosophy (Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita) as unlocked by a traditional teacher. During this time she practiced yoga and meditation “way to seriously” and took to long periods of silence coupled with periods of teaching youth in outdoor settings. At that time she reached for no certifications or credentials. She just practiced, with passion.  

Now, as a single mother, she has redefined her practice and passion to birth this endeavor. Her work is the synthesis of her journey through life and all of its phases.

For as philosophical as the yoga naturally is, Jenna’s approach is also highly functional, physiological and astute in terms of alignment, form and sequencing.

With her special knack for bringing yoga sutras and philosophy to life practically and tangibly, she offers her students a gateway to higher understanding, health and prosperity.
