Finding Jenna and DEVOTED YOGI has been a profound blessing for me. I have practiced yoga in many places, and I find that the healing art of yoga is being offered with such clarity, generosity, and respect in Jenna’s studio. There is no judgement, which fosters a safe space to be where you are in the practice, and to reach for the edge of your practice, when inspired.

By weaving a deep understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and embodied consciousness- Jenna cultivates room for the divine to emerge, for the ordinary to become illuminated. Authentic connection is revealed. I cherish my time here, and I always leave class feeling renewed and resourced- regardless of the circumstances going on in my life.

This work reminds me to live in the larger arc.

Why Women only?

We are offering a women's only training again this fall simply because it was SUCH a powerful experience for every woman of RADIANCE in the past. It encourages us to drop our competition as women and build strength in elevation and devotion to the course material alongside sisters willing and ready to LISTEN, LOVE and EVOLVE through Yoga. There tends to be a great deal of play, laughter and allowance as we explore the depth of yoga teachings and practice together.

Plus it allows us to focus on some pretty controversial and revolutionary topics in safe women positive space.

I didn’t know when I signed up for the this teacher training, that I’d be walking into a studio that would change my trajectory.

Voids were filled that I didn’t know were there, the training offered the time and space to unearth aspects of myself I had neglected.

The curriculum was refreshingly unconventional and un-dogmatic: these teachings are conscientious, smart, and refined.

Jenna and is unafraid to dig deep into yogic philosophy and practice, and has an affinity for combining the physical and philosophical for a comprehensive approach to awareness of the mind and body. The lessons and wisdom from the training continue to come up in conversation with those I love, and with perfect strangers. I use books and materials from YTT to continue the self-work.

The YTT gave me the tools necessary to make my own work creative and genuine. It’s impossible to name everything this training taught me, but to name a few: I learned breath and thought are inextricably connected. I learned how to replace old thought patterns with healthier, more productive ones for positive change. I learned that remaining curious opens the flood gates to creativity. The teacher training with Jenna was a cocoon of nourishment and growth; its effects have been omnipresent.

It is in your best interest to Prepare for Training

The more regular your asana practice, the more fluid the assimilation of material will be. Jenna suggests practicing 4 days a week prior to the start of the program and requires a practice LOG during the course for 5 day /week practice. This can include weekend training days which include full 60 minute or more practice modules.

Please consider abstaining from intoxicants prior to and during your training for purposes of the efficacy of the practice on the subtle body and new habit formation. It is not a requirement, but rather a suggestion based in years of experimentation with sahdana (practice with a purpose of liberation).

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Each student receives a required reading list, a Devoted Yogi Training Manual and upon completion of the program a Certification of Completion in 200hr Yoga Training which can be registered with Yoga Alliance if one desires.
